We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Head of Conversational Banking & Artificial Intelligence.

For this role, directly reporting into the Head of Distribution AMH WPB, we are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to drive our Conversational & Artificial Intelligence commercialization and development specifically with a Distribution network & omni-channel focus. The ideal candidate would possess a deep understanding of AI technologies, their applications in banking (Distribution channels specifically) and a proven track record of strategic implementation to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience and drive revenue growth, with strong commercial orientation.

Principal responsibilities

·  Strategize and execute a comprehensive Conversational Banking & AI roadmap for Distribution channels, both service and sales, aligned with AMH WPB’s goals and regulatory requirements
·  Lead a bot studio team in China to identify, prioritize and implement Conversational Banking projects across various banking functions and customer touchpoints, including design & development, NLP model refinement and ongoing interaction optimization
·  Collaborate with internal & external data scientists and engineers to design, deploy and commercialize Conversational Banking & AI solutions across Distribution network that address business challenges and enhance service offerings with simplified workflow and ways-of-working
·  Establish frameworks for assessing the impact of AI initiatives on business performance, customer satisfaction and staff enablement for driving business growth
·  Drive changes across Distribution touchpoints to ensure it’s future-fit in the Digital era while identifying new innovations & business opportunities to drive transformational changes for an enhanced omni-channel experience
·  Drive excellence in operations, processes and innovative technology, exploit and leverage the available system features to develop new business opportunities aligning a broad understanding of the business strategy, current practices and system capabilities
·  Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies and competitive landscape in AI and banking to inform strategic decisions
·  Advocate for ethical AI practice while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
·  Fosters a collaborative, agile supportive culture within and across teams with direction and confidence in delivering the results

Requirements

Knowledge

·  Customer focused, accountable to distribution P&L and deliver change programs per plan 

·  Deep understanding of various Wealth and Personal Banking business in particular knowledge around AI implementation exposure and online/offline channels

·  Strong collaboration with Digital, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, HOST teams etc and inspire others on the cultural and change mindset

·  Seasoned working experience with different Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence) is an advantage

Experience

·  Seasoned individual with solid experience in leading and managing mega-sized change programs, particularly around data and AI application

·  Outward looking and proven planning and prioritization skills

·  Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

·  Effective in both spoken and written communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills

·  Attentive to details, independent, sensible and assertive to negotiate with different stakeholders

·  Excellent decision making and problem-solving ability

·  Proven experience delivering change using appropriate systems, tools, communication, delegation and planning skills

·  Ability to motivate and lead people, employing appropriate management styles

·  Ability to coordinate a wide variety of solutions, bringing a breadth of experience to the business and seeing the wider implications at all stages

Qualifications and Skills

·  Relevant Banking, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence degree – an advantage

·  Proficient in both spoken and written communication and interpersonal skill

·  Strong Analytical and Presentation skills

·  Energetic, positive attitude and team player

·  Excellent organizational and planning skills

·  A flexible approach to work and working hours
