· Identify gaps between business needs and Avaloq functionality, recommending solutions aligned with product standards and HSBC controls.
· Assess the impact of changes across Avaloq modules, configuration, customisation, integrations, data, reporting and support processes.
· Work with architects, developers, testers and vendors to define solution designs, interfaces, data mappings and non-functional requirements.
· Define acceptance criteria, test scenarios and expected results for functional, integration, regression, migration and user acceptance testing.
· Analyse defects and production issues, support root-cause analysis, and maintain traceability from requirement through release.
· Support estimation and prioritisation by identifying scope, dependencies, risks and delivery effort.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
· Strong hands-on experience with the Avaloq Banking Suite and its processes, products, workflows, data structures and interfaces.
· Experience analysing Avaloq change requests covering implementation, configuration, customisation, migration, upgrades and integration.

· Proven ability to write functional specifications, technical requirements, process models, interface definitions, data mappings and acceptance criteria.
· Experience assessing downstream impacts across connected systems, reporting, operations, controls and regulatory processes.
· Practical experience supporting data migration, data quality, reconciliation and migration validation in an Avaloq environment.
· Experience working with Avaloq vendors and understanding vendor standards, release processes, product constraints and technical dependencies.
· Knowledge of transactional banking, securities, OTC trading, finance, lombard lending or Private Banking products is an advantage.
· Strong analytical, communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex banking, Avaloq, data and integration topics to business and technical audiences.
