We are now inviting qualified individuals to join the team in this specific role.

Principal responsibilities

· Cope with all processes of settlement in Negotiable Instrument products and repo transaction both locally and internationally e.g. ensure complete, accurate capture and process of treasury transactions. Products to cover are Repurchase/Reverse Repurchase transactions, Government Bond, State Enterprise Bond, G7 Bonds, Supra-National Bonds and Debentures for both fixed and floating rates.

· Reconcile daily cashflow from trade transaction and the outstanding securities item by item between TREATS, BahtNet and other Custodian.

· Prepare reports according to regulators i.e. Bank of Thailand, Stock Exchange Committee, Thai BMA, Anti-Money Laundry Act, The Revenue Department, etc.

· Perform operational check on all related reports against Functional Instruction Manuals in order to ensure the compliance to FIM.

· Solve issues and problems that affect workflow. Work as a team, communicate and refer issues to responsible parties in order to minimise customers' dissatisfaction.

· To perform processing and settlement of Futures and underwriting business.

· Assist in new product and system development. Implementation and carrying on as written in the operational procedure.

· Being leave cover for other treasury securities settlement officer

· Ensure an effective Operational Risk Management process is in place to reduce the level of operational risk losses and to protect HSBC Thailand from foreseeable future losses.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Economics or related field
·  At least 1-3 years work experience or more in related fields in Banking and Financial Business is a plus
·  Resourceful, energetic, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
·  Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment
·  Knowledge of processing and controls for treasury and bank products.
·  Good in mathematical skill, spoken and written English and analytical thinking.
·  Detail oriented and be able to work under pressure.
