We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

·  Own the end to end Engineering Delivery of the Liquidity Reporting product.
·  Be responsible for planning and delivery of the releases (including both – Functional and Technical book of work items), per the agreed release cadence and to committed scope.
·  Ensure high quality outcomes that are performant and inline with the Business SLAs and within the agreed costs.
·  Ensure compliance to end to end controls and HSBC standard processes.
·  Lead pods / teams of cross functional engineers.
·  Be responsible for upskilling and management of pod teams.
·  Actively drive continuous improvement by focussing on automation, process improvement and reuse, with an aim to meet or exceed the DevSecOps and EEI metrics for the SVS.
·  People management - Line management of permanent and contractual resources.

Requirements

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:

·  Hands-on experience in implementing complex and data intensive SQL based products.
·  Experience of delivering products / solutions on the Cloud platform (GCP and BigQuery).
·  Expertise and experience with managing large data volumes, ETL and Reporting aspects.
·  Exposure of the Regulatory Reporting functional domain (preferably Liquidity Reporting).
·  Proven track record of leading and managing complex products, on the Cloud platform.
·  Experience of managing global teams, located in diverse geographic locations, across timezones.
·  Possess very good communication and interpersonal skills and be a team player.
