We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Management Support - Vice President .
Principal responsibilities
Main areas of focus.
· Develop centralise capability which can work with different business and functional teams across AM globally
· Continually scrutinise and manage the quality of data with aim to continuous enhancement in DQ scores
· Work with stakeholders to ensure they have the best quality data available for their needs, expanding coverage and meeting ever increasing complex requirements.
· Continuous communication with data providers to ensure smooth delivery and understanding of calculation methodology.
· Maintenance of daily logs, MI and consumer requirements library.
· Adherence to governance framework in all aspects of ESG Data Management i.e. data provider selection, issue management, escalation, delivery timelines and methodology outline
The role holder will report to the ESG Data Steward. Specific responsibilities are listed below.
· The lead will cater to internal and external demands for ESG Data supporting client requirements, fund launches, investment function support and regulatory reporting.
· Manage requests from consumers for changes to data feeds, ensuring delivery in agreed timeline in collaboration with support and involved teams like IT, BT, Quant, Sales etc.
· Work alongside other Data Services to manage, maintain and improve BAU processes and collaborate to provide excellent support within SLA timeline for data queries across platforms.
· Effective relationship management with data providers and internal data consumers including third parties.
· Build and operate in co-ordination with multiple parties to ensure service delivery is achieved within agreed timeframe and optimum standards
· Ensure adoption of data quality and governance framework, implementation of rules and managing BAU effectively
· Accountability for monitoring the data integrity and timeliness in delivering to the Google Cloud Platform, incident handling and communication to consumers. Ensure communication between all parties is as robust as possible and responses to new requests are delivered on time.
· Open to adaption of new technologies within day to day operations to enhance overall outcome and delivery excellence
Requirements
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
· Previous experience of working in Capital Markets / Asset Management in Data oriented setup
· Detail oriented and able to prioritise multiple projects and/or tasks.
· Strong Project Management Skills
· Exceptional understanding of ESG Data, Framework, its application and ESG Regulations like SFDR, TCFD, EUT, NZAM
· Data Management experience is must in addition to strong data science understanding.
· Good analytical skills with advanced MS suite and SQL are must while Python and Tableau skills are desirable.
· Excellent presentation skills must have for this role given wider stakeholders across organization
· The capacity to analyse and interpret complex information from various sources and present and communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear concise manner
· The role requires an individual who is goal orientated, commercially minded, customer and results focused
· Self-starter and self-motivated with proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and be able to influence and motivate stakeholders
