We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Custody Product Delivery Manager.

Principal responsibilities

·  The Product Delivery Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of one functionally aligned pod, including supporting key client projects.
·  Driving the successful delivery, providing end-to-end leadership, planning & collaboration with business partners, technology groups, external suppliers, market infrastructure (CSD’s) & customers
·  Chair, facilitate and present updates on to review overall progress during change lifecycle stages.
·  Proactively challenge the status of risks / issues to ensure the appropriate mitigation, remedial plans are in place & seek endorsement from key stakeholders
·  Drive prioritisation of backlogs to ensure delivery plan balances client & internal initiatives
·  Foster & encourage a positive, inclusive & collaborative working environment across disciplines and teams to ensure strong alignment
·  Promote adoption of agile ways of working
·  Participating in client facing discussions and workshops, to socialise delivery strategy, roadmap as required
·  Management of multiple senior stakeholder groups regarding programme updates, risks / issues and timely escalation, as required
·  Identify opportunities to improve ways of working, and engage the team and functions on regular retrospectives to identify suggestions for change
·  Managing and leading teams (direct and indirect) towards goals for the value-stream that contribute to execution of the strategy as well as building the long-term capabilities of the team.

Requirements

·  Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
·  Proven experience in management and leadership, including direct management and career development of teams
·  Knowledge of Custody (settlements and/or asset servicing) or wider Post Trade, Equities or Fixed Income within Securities Services is ideal.
·  Experience within the capital market industry is highly preferred.
·  Experience with banks & broker-dealer and/or asset manager/owner client segment is an advantage
·  Flexibility in approach, and the ability to show initiative and respond quickly to changing situations.
·  Ability to manage ambiguity and work to bring clarity by effectively engaging clients or partners.
·  Proven ability to work in a matrix environment, with strong ability to influence and persuade
·  Strong presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly depending on audience (e.g. internal stakeholders, clients etc.)
·  Ability to execute role with a high level of autonomy while being mindful of when to seek guidance and approval
·  Thrives working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment working across different groups and time zones.
·  Sound understanding of IT infrastructure and software development
·  Experience with business/functional design and solutioning, balancing short vs. long term objectives
