We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Project Manager.
Business: Retail Banking Technology
Principal responsibilities
· Manages / optimizes the delivery of business value through the following the SAFe (Scale Agile Framework) guidance
· Facilitates the Value Stream / Sub Value Stream Product Increment Planning and collaborates with all stakeholders to produce the program delivery plan for the coming quarter that aligns with the Quarterly Business Review and business OKRs (Objectives and key results)
· Constantly works with the Value Stream / Sub Value Stream Leads to plan and prioritize the backlog as and when new urgent demands arise or there are changes in scope or any issues surface
· Work collaboratively with other pod teams sharing common goals to synchronize information and resolve problems
· Responsible for project deliverables
· Mange the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes.
· Support Technology teams to manage delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications, budget
· Assists with prioritization decision-making by facilitating feature and epic estimation by teams and the roll-up to Capability, where necessary
· Ensures awareness, involvement and support from key stakeholders by building strong teams and maintaining robust communications on the iteration and Product Increment status including iteration status reports, Confluence, implementation checkpoints and Jira roadmaps
Requirements
· Experience in Agile Delivery disciplines
· Experience in working on complex products with multiple work streams in a scaled environment
· Experience in POD lead or Technical Lead.
· Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, think analytically and communicate effectively
· Ability to gain a clear understanding of others’ point of view by listening, asking clarifying questions and reflecting back
· Open for honest and constructive debates with fact and integrity
· Possessing critical thinking to identity root causes, looking beyond a problem's surface to offer sustainable solutions
· Adaptive – ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver goals
· Self-awareness and self-motivating, with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science Degree preferred
· Working experience in supporting FX and Payment systems is an advantage
