We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, PSM Dependencies Lead

Principal responsibilities

·  The Associate Director will be responsible for: Identify, document, and manage dependencies across multiple programmes and projects. 
·  Facilitate cross-programme discussions to resolve interdependencies and mitigate risks. 
·  Ensure clear accountability for delivering dependent deliverables and milestones. 
·  Act as the single point of contact for dependency-related concerns between project teams and programme leads. 
·  Facilitate regular dependency reviews and update key stakeholders on progress. 
·  Build strong working relationships with programme managers, technical leads, and business sponsors. 
·  Monitor and escalate risks arising from inter-programme dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and Develop mitigation plans to address challenges impacting delivery timelines. 
·  Work closely with SVS and initiative delivery leads align schedules and timelines across dependencies. 
·  Provide visibility on critical dependencies through detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations, ensure dependency management processes are integrated into project planning frameworks. 
·  Continuously improve dependency management practices by incorporating feedback and lessons learned. and Develop tools, templates, and processes to enhance coordination across programmes. 

Requirements

·  Evaluates project performance, reporting on progress, status and risks
·  Collaborates with stakeholders to extract strategic information to present it in a compelling way to management
·  Supports critical governance processes i.e. steering committees, toll gates, quality assurance
·  Collaborates with stakeholders to extract strategic information to present it in a compelling way to management
·  Oversees the governance process to reduce risk and ensure effective decisions
·  Strong understanding of project and programme management principles (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, Agile).
·  Demonstrated experience in managing dependencies in complex, multi-programme environments.
·  Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including facilitation and negotiation.
·  Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and dependencies proactively.
·  Proficiency in Group management tools (e.g., Clarity, JIRA, or equivalent).
·  Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
