We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Finance Manager - FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING-INSURANCE.

Principal responsibilities

·  Enhanced implementation of accounting policies and principles among multiple business lines (i.e. Individual Insurance, Group Insurance, Digital Insurance, Fund Sales), esp. revenue recognition, provision etc.
·  Provide clear guidance and strong support to business team for Revenue and AR management.
·  Responsible to deliver timely and reliable MI reports on regular basis. (i.e. Saracen report, IFRS17 group reporting).
·  Perform key controls on regulatory reports, reconcile the data with various business team.
·  Prepare NFRA and CSRC regulatory returns and ensure all the returns are finalised in a timely and exact manner.
·  Maintain technical knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements (NFRA/CSRC/MOF/etc.), assist in interpreting and implementing current and upcoming regulatory reporting requirements.
·  Perform ad-hoc reporting requirements as necessary.
·  Develop and enhance accounting and reporting system.

Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and Audit.
·  3-5 years accounting and reporting, brokerage company experience is preferred.
·  Good understanding of PRC GAAP, IFRS, solid knowledge in Fund Sales or Insurance is deemed as a plus.
·  Qualified member from recognizable professional accountancy bodies (e.g. CICPA etc.) is preferred.
·  Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
·  Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
