AS 400 Developer- CS Commercial Banking IT

Job description

8-10 years of experience on iSeries platform (AS400, RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE)

·
Good iSeries operational knowledge (e.g. Subsystems, Backup and Restore process etc.)

·
Good knowledge of MQ, Connect Direct and FTP interface setup in AS400

·
Test Environment Build, Maintenance, Support and Manage access controls on iSeries platform

·
Knowledge of code promotion/ release to different test and Development environments via source control tools.

·
Good knowledge on work management, DASD monitoring, allocation and clean-up

·
Tools

·
Good working knowledge of RTC, RDP, MKS Implementer and/or ARCAD

Mandatory Skills:

· Programming using AS400 native languages (RPG 400, CL 400)

· DB2/400

· ILE concepts (ILE RPG, CLLE, etc.)

· Hands on knowledge of working with SQL and coding using SQLRPG/LE

· Knowledge of Batch and online Programming (Screen) in AS400

· Fundamental concepts of OS400

· Ability to convert business requirement to technical low level /high level design

· Soft Skills - Communication skill/Language/Analytical etc.

Desirable to have

· Hands on experience on coding with open source languages on IBMi

· Fundamental concepts of API

· Working knowledge of (ARCAD/RDi)

· Hands on experience on coding with Free format RPG

· Domain knowledge of Banking
