Position Statement:
The Commercial Senior Manager Focused Service Greater China & Mongolia (GCM) will be responsible for supporting commercial strategy and pre-opening of focused service franchised hotels in GCM.
· The role will exercise good judgment in the development of commercial strategy, influencing the franchisee to drive the execution of strategy to achieve commercial objectives. This will include, but not be limited to, the development and communication of company commercial strategies and standards through a structured commercial cadence and analysis of Brand performance against established goals.
· The role will be responsible to support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete respective commercial actions, commercial reviews, or support initiatives/projects.
· From a pre-opening perspective, the role will also support ensuring the successful delivery of all focused service franchised hotels opening across the Greater China & Mongolia region.
Position Summary:
· S upport the Senior Director & Commercial Director of Focused Service to develop powerful business relationships with franchisees, decision-makers, and influencers, assisting in the designed Brand Strategic Initiatives an d Commercial Strategy. Manage the appropriate commercial targets & objectives for the focused service franchise hotels and navigate how it is to be accomplished.
· Conduct or collaborate on all business strategies and the activities needed to grow the focused service franchised hotels’ commercial business engagement, and manage any growth opportunities.
· Support all commercial aspects of focused service franchised hotels from preparation to a smooth opening and post-opening support once the hotel is opened.
· Ensure focused service franchised hotels
Ø I mplement the right strategies in place to deliver Hilton's commercial performance, driving the franchisees ‘market share and Honors performance.
Ø Ensure Hilton’s business programs, sales tools, and processes are used and adhered to consistently .
Ø Participation in Hilton’s key commercial programs, eg. RMCC, ResMax, SCOUT.
Ø Participation in the Hilton commercial business events, eg. HWS sales activities, and regional marketing campaigns.
Ø Evaluate and identify business opportunities for franchised hotels and direct accordingly.
Ø Optimize sales resources, capture maximum demand, and drive the highest level of conversion.
Ø Align with regional and enterprise-wide plans
· Closely work with the brand management team to connect the needs of the focused service franchised hotels with the performance drivers.
· Coach, mentor, and provide on-the-job training and business support. Ensure Hilton’s commercial programs are live in the business at all levels.
· Support building short, medium, and long-term strategic plans of the focused service franchised hotels to deliver sustained business goals
Direct Reports: Although the position does not have any Direct Reports, this role will need to maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels and will collaborate with Development, Brand Management, Technical Services, Hotel Operations, Human Resources, IT, Finance, and other Pre-Opening and/or functions.

· Excellent in Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
· Previous relevant experience in a regional role is preferred.
· Adaptable experience in sales or revenue management.
· Experience working in the focused service hotel is preferred
· Deep understanding of the business strategy, business planning, and business plan development
Strong experience in the focused service franchised corporate/area role is preferred
