The Job Role
As Luxury Leisure MICE Sales Manager, you will manage the Luxury Leisure business for Conrad Dublin and to recommend and manage strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business.
· Manage and drive the Consortia and luxury leisure segment with a focus on the Americas
· Represent the hotel at sales events and client appointments with frequent travel required to the US and surrounding area but could also involve other destinations globally.
· Nourish and maintain strong customer and client relationships with luxury travel advisors and agents.
· Analysis of market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads.
· Develop customer accounts and travel within the segment to drive more than the fair share of business into the hotel and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams.
· Negotiate room rates/packages with leisure and corporate clients
· Work within current business strategies and recognising potential opportunities
· Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
· Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
· Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner
