Job description
What will I be doing?
As a Marketing Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Copy writing, proofreading, and translation for Web campaign, mail magazine, press release, ad and creative collateral
Communicate with vendors and help manage outsourcing projects
Assist in the management of purchase orders
Promotion code application, internal notification of media coverage
Support Public Relations agency to execute annual Public Relations activities including daily media relations, media sales calls and pitches, press conferences, media shootings and press tours
Coordinate internal activities and communications, such as media shooting arrangement with national /regional teams and Public Relations agency
Develop necessary collateral materials and media proofreading
Research for recent timeshare and hotel market for the Public Relations perspective
Support the agency to execute social media plans for Instagram, Facebook. LINE and etc.
· Be strongly skilled in organization, problem-solving, customer service, and multitasking while being committed to excellence, can work autonomously whilst keeping all parties informed
· Intermediate level of software skills (Microsoft office word, excel, powerpoint & outlook).
· Ability to work under pressure at all times
· Fluent in Japanese
· Intermediate level of English
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
· Previous Hotel or leisure sector experience
· Previous Marketing experience in a similar environment
· Basic knowledge of budgeting or cost-management
· Relevant degree, in marketing, business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience:
• 1+ year of combined marketing, advertising, and/or ecommerce marketing experience. Or at least 3 years working experience in the hotel industry.
• Prior hotel/travel industry experience preferred, but not required
