Position Summary

The Housekeeping & Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas at our newly opened Home2 Suites by Hilton in Lafayette, Louisiana. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a positive guest experience by upholding Hilton brand standards of cleanliness and service.

Key Responsibilities

·  Clean and service guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms
·  Replenish guest room amenities, towels, and supplies according to brand standards
·  Clean and maintain public areas, including hallways, lobby areas, elevators, and back-of-house spaces
·  Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to management promptly
·  Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items
·  Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and closets in a clean and organized manner
·  Operate laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and other hotel textiles
·  Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and laundry supplies following safety guidelines
·  Assist with deep cleaning projects and room inspections as needed
·  Work closely with front desk and maintenance teams to meet daily room readiness goals

Work Experience

Qualifications

·  Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required (training provided)
·  Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
·  Ability to work efficiently and independently
·  Strong time-management skills
·  Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
·  Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

·  Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
·  Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
·  Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts and laundry bins
