The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Group Reservations Coordinator to join the team! Be part of America’s beachfront legend and after a more than $550M re storation and revitalization, this Victorian seaside resort is more stunning than ever.
Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre National Historic Landmark was built in 1888 and has 938 guest rooms, cottages and villas with 97,500 square feet of banquet space, and 12 food and beverage outlets. This includes 9 restaurants & bars, marketplace, gelato shop, and in-room dining.
Classification: Temporary Full-Time (Approx 3 months, this may become a permanent role)
Shift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $22.56 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
Union Position: This position is part of the Local Union which requires complete open availability . We are not able to accommodate schedule restrictions and full-time hours are not guaranteed. Hours and schedule are based on seniority and business needs and may be minimal at times until seniority is established. You must be comfortable with a schedule and hours that may vary from week to week.

As a Group Reservation Coordinator , you’re not just supporting the hotel’s group booking process – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
· Process group reservations: Coordinate group booking details, including rooming lists, suites, event resumes, and billing requirements.
· Ensure seamless communication: Act as a liaison to verify and relay reservation information between internal and external stakeholders, including meeting planners, housing bureaus, convention teams, and the front office
· Provide exceptional customer service: Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from clients, guests, and team members
· Support special projects: Assist with coordinating departmental initiatives or ad-hoc assignments
· Provide administrative support: Assist department managers with clerical work such as word processing, data entry, filing, and copying
