Job description

Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to join the Front Office Team!

 

This luxurious oceanfront retreat offers a world of style, service and connection with globally inspired architecture and design. The hotel has 290 rooms with an expansive pool terrace with private cabanas, a 6 th  floor fitness center, a tranquil boutique Spa, over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and 5 food and beverage outlets.  This includes a restaurant, pool side grill, cocktail lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining.

 

·          Classification:  Full-Time

·          Shift: Varies– must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

What will I be doing?

Responsible for the effortless and seamless movement of guests in and out of the hotel and providing exceptional levels of guest service throughout the guests’ stay. Supervise front office associates, resolve guest issues and assist the front office manager with scheduling, associate development and ensure policies are being followed.

·  Manage and motivate the Front Office team in order to provide the highest level of service for our guests.
·  Drive guest engagement and employee engagement by using strong inter-personal communication skills.
·  Handle any guest complaints or contentious issues that cannot be settled directly by team members and provides an efficient and satisfactory solution.
·  Integrate and train employees, providing support for skills development.
·  Communicate effectively to ensure all front line staff have proper information to do their job efficiently and accurately.
·  Hold team accountable to Standard Operating Procedures.
·  Ensure secure payment is collected for reservations at check in and reviewing in-house accounts for authorization. Review to make sure billing is correct during and after guest departure.  
·  Lead daily stand up meetings and inspire associates with an exciting and engaging manner.
·  Perform all duties directed by Front Office Leadership.
