We are looking for a passionate and accomplished individual to join our executive team as Director of Operations, driving change and innovation within our dynamic organization.

As a key leader on our team, you will play an essential role in shaping the operational excellence of our property, ensuring that every guest experience embodies the highest standards of luxury and sophistication.

About the Role

The Director of Operations will oversee all operational departments, including Front Desk, Food & Beverage, Conference & Banqueting, Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and Purchasing, ensuring seamless coordination and uncompromising quality. This role is accountable for achieving strategic goals, driving revenue, and delivering an exceptional guest experience that embodies the luxury ethos of Conrad Athens The Ilisian.  

Key Responsibilities 

Luxury Guest Experiences: Ensure every operational area delivers world-class, personalized guest services, exceeding expectations at every touchpoint.  

Revenue Optimization: Partner with the Commercial Director to enhance upselling strategies and drive revenue growth across all departments.  

Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, fostering collaboration and ensuring the smooth functioning of all departments. Team Leadership: Mentor and develop department heads and their teams, promoting a culture of engagement, excellence, and professional growth.  

Environmental Sustainability: Champion and implement eco-friendly practices across departments, aligning with our commitment to responsible luxury.  

Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with executive leadership to refine and implement the hotel’s luxury-focused business strategy.  

Work Experience

Proven Leadership: Experience in a similar senior role within a luxury hotel environment.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).  

Operational Expertise: Strong financial acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and a track record of driving revenue and guest satisfaction in luxury settings.  

Service Excellence: Passion for delivering bespoke guest experiences and fostering a culture of service excellence.  

Sustainability Focus: Demonstrated commitment to environmental responsibility within hospitality operations.  

Languages: Fluency in English is a must; knowledge of Greek will be considered an asset.
