Job description

The Complex Marketing Specialist works with the Complex Senior Marketing Manager to support the implementation of the marketing plan and run marketing campaigns to increase hotel brand awareness and support the business development strategy. Must be able to travel to the complex properties in the GTA. 

Summary of Responsibilities  

·  Support the development, execution, management, and analysis of marketing campaigns for the complex 3 properties across the GTA
·  Work closely across departments to drive marketing initiatives that raise awareness of all hotel programs and initiatives that meet marketing and business goals
·  Develop engaging photo and video content for use across digital platforms, campaigns, and brand channels
·  Manage content production from concept to execution, including photography, videography, and editing
·  Oversee social media accounts, including planning, posting, engaging with our audience, and reporting on performance
·  Assist in writing and editing copy for emails, websites, social posts, and other brand assets
·  Track key performance metrics to help optimize content and social strategies 
·  Stay on top of marketing and industry trends, converting observations and data into insights to contribute to the hotel’s overall marketing strategies
·  Report monthly performance analytics

What are we looking for?  

The Complex Marketing Specialist serving Hilton brands are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

·  A degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related discipline is preferred
·  A minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, content creation, lifestyle/ hospitality or agency experience 
·  Strong photography and video skills, including editing and post-production
·  Demonstrated proficiency managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) 
·  Solid understanding of marketing fundamentals and branding
·  A portfolio showcasing your visual content and/or social campaigns
·  Exceptional organizational and time management skills
·  Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
·  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: 

·  Experience in hospitality, retail, or lifestyle brands
·  Familiarity with scheduling tools like Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite
·  Basic knowledge of email marketing platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Meta Ads, Google Analytics
