As part of the Sales & Marketing team, you will provide essential support across administrative functions, customer service, and sales lead development, helping to drive future and repeat business.

As a Coordinator – Events /  Sales , you are not just supporting event delivery or sales activities —
you are helping to spread the light and warmth of hospitality.

Through your attention to detail, seamless coordination, and genuine care, you help create memorable experiences that elevate every guest stay and bring the Canopy spirit to life.

What You’ll Do During a Typical Day

Communication & Client Engagement
Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and seamless execution of projects and events.

Customer Service
Deliver exceptional service throughout the entire event or campaign lifecycle, creating experiences that exceed expectations.

Project Coordination
Support the planning and execution of events and marketing initiatives, managing timelines, logistics, and details.

Market Research
Identify customer preferences, market trends, and competitive insights to support strategic decision-making.

Budget Support
Assist in managing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective project delivery.

Digital Marketing
Support online campaigns and contribute to engaging content creation for social media and digital platforms.

Sales Support
Assist with proposals, negotiations, and promotional activities to help drive business growth.

Vendor & Stakeholder Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners to ensure quality and reliability.

Problem-Solving
Proactively address challenges and ensure smooth execution at every stage of planning and delivery.

Performance Analysis
Evaluate the success of events and campaigns using data and KPIs, and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Team Collaboration
Work cross-functionally with various departments to align efforts and achieve shared goals.

Innovation & Adaptability
Stay current with industry trends and bring fresh, creative ideas that reflect the Canopy spirit.

Technical Tools
Utilize hotel systems such as Delphi, Salesforce, OnQ, and Market Planner tools effectively to support operations.

  •   Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel sales admin or coordinator role preferred
    ·  Diploma or degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field
    ·  Strong verbal and written communication skills
    ·  Proficiency in both Japanese and English
    (Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and internal meetings in both languages is required)
    ·  Experience in customer service, event coordination, or marketing preferred
    ·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel/event management systems
    ·  Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
    ·  Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment
    ·  Analytical thinking with a data-driven approach
    ·  A proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills
    ·  Familiarity with digital marketing tools and CRM platforms is a plus
