The Role
At Iconic Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus , we are seeking an Assistant Director of Finance to support the effective management of the hotel’s financial operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, smooth month-end closings, and strong financial controls, while supporting and guiding the Finance team in line with Hilton standards.
Reporting to the Director of Finance , the Assistant Director of Finance will contribute to operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement within the Finance Department.

Key Responsibilities
·
Support the direction and control of Finance Department operations to improve efficiency and productivity
·
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end closing processes
·
Prepare, review, and present monthly and periodic financial reports
·
Assist in maintaining strong financial controls and accurate accounting records
·
Represent the Finance Department in the absence of the Director of Finance
Main Duties
·
Oversee daily activities of the Finance team, providing guidance and support as required
·
Coordinate month-end closing activities in accordance with Hilton policies and timelines
·
Prepare and file monthly and periodic financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
·
Review banking transactions and manage cash flow in line with company procedures
·
Review month-end account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
·
Monitor statutory requirements, legal taxes, and related financial reporting obligations
·
Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and supporting documentation is maintained
·
Liaise with other departments to obtain financial and operational data when required
What We Are Looking For
·
Proven experience in hotel finance or a similar role, preferably within an international or luxury hospitality environment
·
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
·
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
·
Strong leadership and team management skills
·
High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking
·
Proficiency in financial systems and MS Office applications
·
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
·
