Job Description Summary

Creating 2D & 3D winding drawings of Standard/Special Power transformers based on customer’s specification and to prepare designs, calculations, drawings and bill of materials for procurement, quality, test and manufacturing functions.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Preparing winding drawings by using CAD tools and engineering calculation methods
·  Following up the winding drawings’ lifecycle from beginning to the delivery of internal customers
·  Following non-conformance reports and taking necessary preventive actions
·  Preparing the winding design drawings, considering international rules and national standards, using the appropriate GE standards and tools, relying on material specifications (technical understandings, costs, procurement loop), and manufacturing capabilities
·  Aware of the company and local EHS policies, rules and standards. Performing the preventive/corrective actions in collaboration with EHS team to avoid the accidents, incidents and environmental damages

Required Qualifications

·  Graduate of at least a 2-year university program
·  Minimum 10 years of experience in Winding Design of power transformer area
·  Knowledge of 2D & 3D Cad Software programs
·  Willing to work at Gebze plant at least 4 days per week
·  Ability to live in Istanbul & Kocaeli​

·  Transformers design process experience
·  Sound Knowledge of Engineering Fundamentals
·  Comfortable Writing Technical Reports
·  Work Effectively Under time pressure in complex organizational structure
