As System Engineer - Engine Owner and Testing Engine you will work in Catalyst Systems team and you will be responsible for one or more test engines (depending on test complexity) during test program. You will manage engine configuration, instrumentation and test enabling hardware integration, support engine assembly and test cell installation. You will also ensure that test plans meet government and engineering requirements, ensure test objectives are met, schedule and execute to test on time, and report results for first time yield.

Job Description

Essential Responsabilities

· 
Define engine configuration and drive the definition of the instrumentation scope, Test Enabling Hardware and Digital Engine Model

· 
Support Engine Assembly and Test Cell Installation

· 
Chair the Test Vehicle Review

· 
Support preparation and execution of Tollgate Reviews

· 
Assign and manage test requirements, develop test approach and provide cost/time estimates,

· 
Manage test design reviews, write engine and rig test plans for R&D and certification test

· 
Partner with TSE evaluation engineers in development of instrumentation, test enabling hardware and test cell requirements

· 
Specify test conduct requirements and organize test witnessing, perform general oversight of testing and ensure proper documentation

· 
Support Supply Chain Test Engineering organization during test execution phase

· 
Lead engineering team as systems focal during test execution phase and help solving test issues as needed

· 
Create clear concise and accurate engineering documentation

· 
Analyze test statuses, risks, problems and solutions and communicate regularly to management

· 
Assist in planning and cross-team coordination with various project groups

Qualifications / Requirements

· 
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering field

· 
Previous experience in testing or engineering position

· 
Experience with leading engine/components tests of aerospace or industrial products 

· 
Solid project leadership skills

· 
Strong problem solving skills 

· 
Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment

· 
Strong communication and presentation skills

· 
Fluent English language

· 
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
