Perform identified duties for assigned fluid and/or electrical components (pumps, heat exchangers, valves, thermocouples, sensors), assemblies, and processes in a multi-functional team environment for aircraft engines.

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Execute, with guidance of a mentor, the analysis, design, and integration required to define and support the assigned components, assemblies and process that meet business standards, practices, and procedures, and meet the product requirements.
·  Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Specifications, and industry Standards.                                       
·  Develop technical capabilities concurrent with the execution of the task of the position. 
·  Document technical data that is generated to substantiate the assigned components, assemblies and process that is consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
·  Provide timely communication on significant issues or developments.        
·  Support the solution of problems of limited scope and complexity.
·  Utilize Lean tools to improve current business products and processes. 
·  Demonstrated solid technical engineering capability and judgment.

Required Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree student. Mechatronic, Aeronautic, Electric/Electronic, Mechanical engineering.
·  Basic knowledge of engineering principles relevant to the position.
·  Must be able to maintain a normal day-to-day fluid conversation in English on any topic with few mistakes (mistakes that do not affect clear understanding).
·  Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
