Role Summary/Purpose

The Supplier Quality Engineer demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Essential Responsibilities

• Manage supplier activities to ensure the quality of assigned Commodity components.
• Be the technical focal point to coordinate Sourcing, Design & Materials Management functions while interfacing with suppliers.
• Drive consistency and adherence to quality procedures and specification requirements
• Two-in Team with Sourcing / One Face at supplier all along projects execution / Internal interfaces with Inspector, Expeditor, Procurement Specialist, Engineering, and Industrialization...
• From Order to Delivery oriented fully accountable of quality & technical topics
• Manage panel of supplier up to 30 suppliers (could be more for regional commodity)
Qualifications/Requirements

• Engineering’s Degree in Metallurgical (or equivalent experience/knowledge)
• Experience in Casting/Forging/Machining process (Quality, Process, Engineering or Production)
• Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.
Desired Characteristics

• Experience in quality and manufacturing or engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem solving skills / Six sigma trained and certified or equivalent quality certification.
