Role Summary/Purpose

Field Service Engineer is responsible for installation, repairing and maintenance of equipment supplied by LLC "GEHC" (hereinafter - the "Company") to partners and customers in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation, the manufacturer specification and Company policies (hereinafter - the "Equipment").

Essential Responsibilities

• Compliance with company rules and regulations such as occupational health and industrial safety policy, industrial and labor discipline, internal code of labor conduct
• Undergo medical examination, participate in training sessions and briefings on labour protection and other mandatory briefings in accordance to the Company rules and follow the management orders
• Timely the qualification development plans execution, including:
• Initiate and communicate to the manager desired training course to follow
• Request from the manager the necessary support to complete the training;
• Applying for the full-time training courses within the assigned development plan;
• Organizing the business trips for the trainings;
• Complete the assigned distance learning (GE Learning);
• Transfer to the Manager all obtained certificates as a result of completed training courses, for archival storage;
• Perform other tasks from Manager on the qualification development.
• Acceptance from the coordinator of the Operational Focal Center, tasks to be performed, the tasks analysis, to inform the coordinator regarding all known factors that affect the quality, effectiveness and safety of the performance
• Support the coordinator of Operational Focal Centre in the planning, timely response on requests from the coordinator, initiate the ideas to improve the quality of the planning
• In cooperation with the coordinator of Operational Focal Centre planning the route and organizing the business trip to perform the tasks
• Preparation to perform the assigned tasks, including the preparation before departure for the assignment, check the up-dated version of the technical documentation for equipment; check tools availability and proper functioning; availability of the required software to perform the tasks (including customer software, in case if it should be re-installed during the work). To request from the coordinator of Operational Focal Centre and learn all available information regarding the equipment that should be served, repaired, maintained
• Hold the introductory (primary) instruction on the equipment for users. Advice on the equipment usage.

• Receive the users' complaints on the service quality or operating of the equipment provided by the company, immediate transfer the received information to the Manager and/or coordinator Operational Focal Centre
• Timely reporting on the completed tasks in compliance with the Company standards
• Immediately refer to the company technical experts for advice and information to solve technical issues in case if the assignment on the equipment diagnosis or repairing cannot be completed independently.
• Timely request submission to the coordinator of Operational Focal Center on repair parts, materials and tools needed to perform assignments
• Responsible for using spare parts and consumables in accordance with the Company rules. Analysis and support for up to date information in the information system regarding the spare parts, tools and materials ordered to perform the assignments
• To inform the coordinator of Operational Focal Centre on the assignment completion, the route changes and/or changes in the order of planned activities. Immediate notification of manager and/or coordinator Operational Focal Centre for all emergency situations.
• Initiate the ideas on the service excellence of maintenance and repairing processes, reduction of labor costs on manual operations and cost of repairs to improve the quality

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in engineering
• Minimum 2 years professional experience in medical equipment maintenance and/or maintenance of other equipment.
• Knowledge and skills:
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, radio engineering, mechanics;
• basic knowledge of physics of the magnetic field, X-rays, ultrasound;
• knowledge of the technical characteristics, design specifics, purpose and equipment operation modes, rules for operation and use the equipment;
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair, operations methodology and technology;
• Knowledge of the repair work methods; scheduled preventive maintenance system and efficient Equipment operation;
• Knowledge of the requirements for the quality of the repair and maintenance of equipment;
• Knowledge of the purpose and way of application of the control and testing instrumentations according to their specialization and technical documentation for the equipment;
• English language proficiency at the sufficient level for reading technical documentation, reporting and communication within the Company, regular full-time and distance learning;
• Knowledge of computer technology, including software setup methods, computer networks;
• Effective communication skills with the users of the equipment by phone and while performing repair work on the customer sites, including briefings, instructions, counseling, complaints and claims prevention and conflict resolution
