As part of Avio Aero Airfoils Quality team, the Quality Engineer intern will support the following Quality Engineering activities:

·  Active participation to all activities related to product validation (First Article Inspection; Validation Package collection and verification, etc.)
·  Refinement of Process FMEA’s
·  Follows up the related action plan until all corrective actions have been implemented and the Lesson Learnt institutionalized
·  Customer returns investigations and resolutions.
·  Daily Meetings with Manufacturing/Quality/Engineering teams Standard Work
·  Daily MRB (Material Review Board) activity involvement

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Master's degree in Mechanic and/or Aerospace and/or Management Engineering
·  Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Power Point
·  Fluent in Italian and English
·  EU Work Permit

Desired Characteristics

·  Effective problem identification and solution skills
·  General knowledge of main quality problem solving tools (e.g. Ishikawa diagram, 5Wx3L, Pareto Diagrams, Control Charts, Gage R&R, etc.)
·  Strong oral and written communication attitude
·  Strong analytical and problem solving attitude
·  Study or internship experience abroad will be considered as a plus
