Learning Objectives:

Will further advance analytical capabilities regarding the maintenance and quality of different wind turbines components´ durability.

This position can be a great opportunity to further acquire knowledge for a soon-to-be or recent graduate and materialize concepts and practices learned at the university level into a dynamic and engaging workplace, with an international environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Includes familiarization in quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes. Includes conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, etc.

· Support, develop, and follow Quality work instructions and supporting QMS documentation such as quality equipment procedures, tool calibration, inspections, testing, etc.

· Provide support for all quality topics, including timely dispositions of non-conformances, QMS (Quality Management System) compliance including internal audits, and achieving cell goals for quality metrics

· Interpret engineering drawings and specifications against physical parts to investigate non-conformances and effectively document / communicate findings

· Aid in the analysis of internal and external quality data to identify high impact and recurring defect modes to drive meaningful corrective actions, helping to determine root cause of non-conformances and implement corrective actions.

· Support goals for continuous improvement through Six Sigma and Lean methodology.

· Aid in the preparation and presentation of quality data to quality manager, including progress towards quality targets, current challenges, and corrective actions

Required Qualifications:

Recent or soon-to-be graduate in Master's or Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering.

Desired Characteristics:

· Ability to solve technical issues and implement solutions that account for ergonomic, quality and cost considerations

· Strong mechanical and/or electrical design ability

· Ability to manage priorities and achieve results

· Strong oral and written communication skills
