Maintenance support is responsible to support the storekeeper on check, store, inventor, release and compile transaction records of supply and material according to applicable procedures and to inform the sourcing specialist for necessary replenishment.

Responsible to perform the purchasing procedures under consistent with GE's and the local regulations for purchasing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·  Perform the purchasing procedures under consistent with GE's and the local regulations for purchasing.
·  Support Administration task & Finance task Manager request.
·  Assess plant needs for spare parts & supplies and generate material requisitions.
·  Support in accounting for inventory management.
·  To follow all station quality, safety and work procedures for continuous improvement.
·  Assist and co-ordinate with EHS Manager on all EHS activities including implementation of policies/procedures, inspections and audits.
·  Responsible to assist in reducing maintenance cost by efficient use of consumables, parts and tools and preventing their loss or damage.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

·  Proven experience in accounting, materials management, financial control in an industrial power plant environment
·  Knowledge of the accounting of power plant project is performed.
·  Adaptability/flexibility – be open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances.
·  Ability to speak and write in English.
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Negotiating and supplier relationship skills
·  Good knowledge of Microsoft word/Excel

   

DESIRED CHARASTERISTICS:

·  Experience in ERP systems related to accounting, purchasing and maintenance activities.
·  Knowledge of typical legislation associated with customs requirements
·  An understanding of the structure of accounting of overseas company.
