Role Summary/Purpose

The Risk Finance Intern – Power Services Latin America demonstrates accountability to support the Risk Finance leader to achieve functional and business objectives. In this role you will support the development of productivity initiatives and decrease financial risk for a $5B+ portfolio of multi-year service contracts by providing meaningful financial analysis. All of this with the purpose of increasing the bottom line profit of the Power Services business in Latin America.

Essential Responsibilities

Major responsibilities include:

·  Support and provide financial leadership to the region in all risk processes such as productivity modeling, financial planning sessions (Blueprint reviews),
·  profitability estimates and contract renegotiations.

·  Identify regional productivity initiatives to maximize contract profit margins and support operational risk leaders during implementation.

·  Support commercial team during strategic contract renegotiations through scenario analysis and identifying risk mitigation opportunities.

·  Provide key portfolio analytics (financial and operational) supporting overall Enterprise Risk Management. Drive leadership behavior and pro-active business decisions through analysis performed.

·  Ensure key processes and controls are in place to support a world class financial operation and support seamless execution and pacing of Margin Reviews.

·  Drive process standardization and simplification around key risk finance processes.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Enrolled in an engineering or business-related university program.

·  Previous working experience in Finance, banking, Sales or manufacturing.

·  Strong clear thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.

·  Ability to independently lead projects without manager supervision.

·  Ability to work in cross functional environment and matrix organization.

·  Strong interpersonal skills.

·  Demonstrated ability to manage several tasks simultaneously promote teamwork, accountability, and speed.

·  Fluent English and Spanish communication skills, verbal and written.

·  Strong Excel and Power Point skills.
