Strong knowledge in Power System Protection & Communication on Numerical Relays, supporting business development, product homologation, and customer specification. Skilled in identifying customer needs, proposing solutions, and delivering technical support for Grid Automation products and systems. Experienced in resolving complex technical issues.
Job Description
· Provides technical expertise and solutions for the pre-ITO process, influencing customers to adopt the GA portfolio, performing technical analysis of specifications, defining scope, optimizing products and costs, and supporting Tendering and Commercial teams; also acts on OTR by customizing and implementing products for customer-specific needs.
· Develops deep technical knowledge and applies expertise to execute business strategies, with strong understanding of key drivers and delivering both technical and cost-effective value to customers.
· Leads business development action plans, focusing on expanding the Grid Automation business, obtaining product approvals, driving new solution adoption, and increasing market share through customer "spec-in" activities.
· Builds strong technical relationships with customers, channels, and partners, delivering technical presentations, trainings, system integration support, and gathering feedback to enhance the GE offering.
· Coordinates technical activities across Engineering, Sales, Application, and Channel teams, ensuring pre- and post-sales support, product comparison analysis, and field issue resolution.
Additional Job Description
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical or/and Electronics engineering or Electronics Engineering from an accredited university or college
· Experience in Application / Engineering / Commissioning of Grid Automation Products and Systems
· Essential experience, knowledge and demonstrated practical skills in EHV, HV and MV Substation Protection, Automation and Industrial Systems as well, and Communication protocols across all aspects of Design, Configuration, Testing and Commissioning.
· Preferable to have Knowledge on IEC61850 (Station and Process Bus), Legacy Communication Protocol Substation Digital Control Systems and ability to communicate clearly on these topics across a wide diverse Customer
