The position holder will be leading delivery of highly complex, large scale and international HVDC tenders (contracts >100MUSD).

In addition, may also manage few small to medium size tenders as support to project team (variation order on existing contracts, etc.) or business development team (pre-qualification, etc.).

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

· 
Define and execute bid strategy with Capture Leaders to maximize win probability and customer satisfaction.

· 
Lead cross-functional tender teams (Engineering, Sourcing, PM) to deliver competitive technical and commercial proposals.

· 
Manage tender planning, cost estimation, risk assessment, sourcing strategy, and governance approvals.

· 
Lead customer meetings and contract negotiations in international environments.

· 
Ensure compliance with GE Vernova processes, quality standards, and EHS policies while promoting a strong safety culture.

· 
Drive continuous improvement of tender efficiency, quality, and financial performance.

Requirements

· 
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field with strong focus on electrical power systems

· 
Proven experience managing complex tenders or projects in large international engineering environments (HVDC knowledge preferred).

· 
Strong commercial and contractual understanding, including negotiation experience.

· 
Solid knowledge of electrical power systems for utility customers.

· 
Fluent German (mandatory) and English.

· 
Strong leadership potential, decision-making ability, customer orientation, and ability to perform under time pressure.

· 
High IT proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) and willingness to travel (approx. once per month).
