Job Description Summary
Lawyers and non-lawyers providing leadership and oversight to business operations to assure adherence to all aspects of internal company and external regulatory compliance. Insures appropriate mechanisms are in place to comply with relevant laws and regulations, and adherence to corporate programs and practices. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Focused on execution of standard enabling activities/provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline. There may be some latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing situations.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Perform and obtain the specialized license registration (REPSE)
• Coordinate all steps required to obtain the specialized services license renewal amongst all functional teams related to this process
• Report tracking of employee’s attendance to customers sites to document management vendor monthly.
• Monitor the delivery of information requested by document management supplier
• Identify and analyze deficiencies observed by document management vendor, based on document management dashboard
• Assess and communicate to process owners key risks to take corrective actions
• Quarterly mandatory reporting, capture of information requested by authorities in corresponding systems
• Management of document repository of all information related to this process as well as quarterly reports submitted
• Support and audit compliance of specialized vendors
• Coordinate functional areas to comply with audits and government inquires in this matter
• Responsible for coordination with external auditor and all internal activities to complete and submit annual mandatory audit process on time
• Coordinate the functional areas to comply with audits and government inquiries
• Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy
• Provide informal guidance to process stakeholders and new team members
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Legal, Accounting, Tax, Fiscal/social security lawyer, or any related degree strongly preferred
• 3+ years of law / accounting / taxes / employment taxes experience
• Proven experience on REPSE related processes
• English proficiency required
