Job Description Summary
This position serves as a Manufacturing Planner within the Planning & Fulfillment Team at the Changwon Factory, responsible for managing all planning and fulfillment activities related to HRSG pressure part manufacturing.
You will coordinate all factory-related activities from the project negotiation stage through to product delivery which includes development of M-BOM, tracking raw material delivery and inventory status etc.
You act as a control tower to address all fulfillment issues related to material, quality, and delivery, ensuring successful achievement of schedule, cost, and productivity targets for each project.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
· Plan and control the manufacturing schedule for HRSG pressure parts.
· Review E-BOM and develop M-BOM; initiate and manage raw material purchasing.
· Track raw material delivery status and perform GR & material distribution.
· Maintain and update raw material inventory lists; manage physical stock accuracy.
· Prepare and manage production plans, cost, and delivery schedules by project.
· Conduct EAC (Estimate at Completion) forecasting and cost performance analysis.
· Support procurement planning, inbound/outbound logistics, and material control.
· Analyze production performance and drive continuous improvement activities.
· Lead Lean / Kaizen initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, and Quality teams both locally and globally.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or related fields).
· Experience or strong interest in production management within a manufacturing environment.
· Business-level English proficiency (written and spoken).
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Desired Qualifications
· Familiarity with Scheduling Tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
· Basic skills in 2D/3D CAD software.
· Experience in plant, heavy industry, HRSG, or pressure vessel manufacturing.
· Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
· Experience working in a global, cross-functional project environment.
