The role of MSO Manager is to lead all aspects of manufacturing shop in connection with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Customer, and other shareholders focusing on meeting and exceeding business goals and service requirements. The MSO will also be responsible of providing direction and leadership to the work group fostering safety as the agenda and GE core Values.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Establish and execute through Lead with Focus on the attainment of operational goals while managing Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, Productivity and Compliance priorities.
• Lead diversified team of manufacturing, testing and electrical equipment nurturing teamwork.
• Foster engaged workforce providing leadership and effective communications with a problem-solving and continuous improvement culture to thrive.
• Leads and partner process investigations (Track wise Cases) and implements process improvements.
• Partners with Engineering on new product development ensuring products are serviceable to our customers with high quality standards.
• Accomplish daily goals with employee involvement, safety, and teamwork.
• Monitors and Support Sales team with orders expedites to exceed customer expectations.
• Actively Support and promotes Lean improvements across site.
• Monitor & improve cost productivity through Lean manufacturing methodologies while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality, & compliant manner
• Engage in business initiatives including but not limited to EHS, Quality, Lean, Continuous Improvement and employee engagement, among others.
• Continually improve on-time delivery, lead time and other key business metrics driving excellence.
• Ensure plant and overall GE’s policies and procedures are followed with high Integrity standards

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Finance or Management.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous management experience in a production environment.
• Fluently speak, read, and write English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, variable cost productivity, fulfillment metrics, and quality systems
• Lean trained with demonstrated ability to apply tools and process rigor for business improvement and simplification.
• Knowledge in computers and Microsoft Office programs and SAP.
• Strategic, strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills with proven ability to lead a team to accomplish challenging goals.
• Proven ability driving a team player environment with excellent interpersonal skills.
