Job Description Summary
Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
This position is based at our headquarters in Wilmington, NC. Must be willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided) if not already local.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
· Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
· Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
· Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
· Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
· Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 3 years of supply chain experience OR a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of supply chain experience

Desired Characteristics:
· Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
· Experience in the Nuclear Power Industry or other highly regulated industries.
· Strong leader capable of working successfully in a matrix organization and as part of a cross-functional team to drive impactful results.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects to completion, including meeting project deadlines, with appropriate cost and schedule control.
· Working knowledge of Oracle and/or SAP systems with prior experience in using Material Resource Planning (MRP) tools
· Possess strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as project and executive management.
· Demonstrated ability to effectively manage job responsibilities in a global environment with minimal supervision.
· Demonstrated understanding of all phases of sourcing and procurement execution.
· Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills, including ability to successfully interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
· Demonstrated competency in creating clear and concise written documentation that fully summarizes all aspects of a procurement transaction.
· For internal candidates, prior Leadership program experience is encouraged
The base pay range for this position is $82,000-115,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 9/12/2025.
