Job Description Summary

We are looking for a senior leader to own GridFusion (GF), a critical Finance IT platform for GE Vernova’s Hydro business. In this role, you will lead the end‑to‑end delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of GF, acting as the main bridge between Finance/Operations and Digital Technology (DT/IT). You will shape the roadmap, ensure robust processes and high‑quality releases, and drive strong adoption across Brazil and other Hydro regions.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
·  Act as primary interface between business leaders and DT/IT for all GridFusion topics;
·  Translate business needs and pain points into clear, outcome‑driven requirements and acceptance criteria;
·  Partner with DT/IT to assess feasibility, classify requests (configuration vs. development), and prioritize the backlog;
·  Understand core Hydro Finance processes (incl. MPR and PMR) and how they are executed in GridFusion;
·  Identify process gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities, driving standardization and best practices;
·  Define and enforce controls to improve data quality, reliability, and compliance;
·  Lead delivery in partnership with DT/IT, including UAT planning, execution, and traceability;
·  Own Go/No‑Go recommendations for releases and ensure readiness, stability, and quality; Ensure adherence to SDLC, change management, documentation, and audit/SOX requirements where applicable;
·  Serve as single point of contact for GF enhancements and change requests;
·  Communicate clearly via roadmaps, status updates, and release notes to stakeholders at multiple levels;
·  Drive platform stability through release/maintenance planning, SLAs/SLOs, and incident/post‑incident management;
·  Lead adoption and change programs (stakeholder mapping, champions network, targeted enablement, role‑based training);
·  Monitor health and adoption metrics (stability, data quality, process adherence, usage analytics) and lead remediation actions;
·  Establish Voice of Customer routines and convert feedback into prioritized backlog and process updates;
·  Facilitate cross‑functional decisions, risk escalations, and governance forums aligning business, DT/IT, and process owners.

Required Qualifications:
·  Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field;
·  Previous experience in managing finance or business applications within IT/DT (e.g., Project Manager, Program Manager, Product Manager);
·  Strong finance domain experience in project‑based environments (project reviews, project margin analytics, revenue/cost controls);
·  Proven ability to translate business processes into system requirements and distinguish configuration from customization;
·  Demonstrated track record in improving platform stability and driving end‑user adoption in global, matrixed organizations;
·  Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, UAT, test strategy, release and change management, and documentation best practices
·  Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision‑making skills; able to influence and drive consensus across diverse stakeholders
·  Experience working effectively in a global, matrixed environment and influencing without direct authority;
·  Fluent in English and Portuguese (required); Spanish is a plus.
