Job Description Summary
Site IT Manager for GE Aerospace’s Services Technology Acceleration Center (STAC) which is a Repair facility in Springdale, OH state focusing on innovation, technology acceleration, development, automation and its industrialization. Responsible for managing information technology of this plant, including all IT infrastructure & software applications necessary for shop operations. As the site IT leader, you will be responsible for performance & availability of IT infrastructure & applications as well as partner with the business on digital improvements.
Job Description
In this role, you will:
· Responsible for DT operations & management of the repair shop.
· Designs & implements the roadmap to drive digital improvements across IT infrastructure & application landscape.
· Performs as part of the Shop leadership team representing information technology.
· Partners with the business to participate in lean/ process improvement initiatives & enable business transformation leveraging digital tools.
· Familiar with all business applications in use at the site and have awareness of overall business flow.
· Familiar with the digital product catalog and how it fits in with site operations.
· Works on machine instrumentation initiatives to enable enhanced business operations.
· Proactively monitors network performance (WAN / LAN / WLAN) and escalate issues.
· Builds relationships with central digital technology product teams for quicker resolution of networking and application issues.
· Work with central digital product teams to resolve systemic recurring issues or enhancement needs.
· Manage and coordinate all Digital Workspace technology.
· Support all printers, MFPs, on-site A/V and telecommunications equipment.
· Manage and coordinate the deployment and support of shop floor PCs.
· Provide on-site support for networking infrastructure.
· Coordinate IT infrastructure work with applicable teams.
· Provide immediate response to cybersecurity threats.
· Escalate IT issues that are affecting site production & provide on call support as necessary.
· Initiates technology obsolescence and improvement projects.
· Adopt & bring into practice Lean and Flight Deck fundamentals.
· Develop and manage adherence to departmental Change Management and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
· Collaborate with functional teams in supporting new product & technology introductions.
· Support implementation of shop floor productivity and automations.
· Maintain a strong cybersecurity posture at the site and comply with established standards and practices.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
· Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT
· Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Desired Characteristics
· Experience working IT in a manufacturing environment
· Hands-on experience in 24x7x365 technical operations
· Experienced in design, performance, availability and scalability of the infrastructure
· Demonstrated ability to managing infrastructure and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
· Demonstrated ability to integrate with manufacturing technologies
· Demonstrated understanding of Lean concepts. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Standard Work, Hoshin Kanri).
· Demonstrated ability to drive projects based on business strategies and customer requirements
· Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
