Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India’s defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India’s aerospace ecosystem.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Zero near miss, first aid and injury.
· Zero quality & compliance escapes.
· Hands on experience in production planning
· Hands on experience in identifying planning and maintaining L1, L2, L3 & Sub assembly stocks .
· Work with CFT team for productivity improvements.
· 100 % Resource utilization with on time material planning & delivery.
· Inventory management (WIP+ Sub assembly) within define Target.
· Coordinate with upstream functions to ensure materials available on time to start production activities.
· Review with concerned stakeholders to ensure manufacturing completes on time.
· Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are meet & change loading plan and ensure sufficient loading according metal joiners skill.
· Keep a track of engineering/manufacturing changes to avoid impact on excess WIP & delivery.
· Monitor key performance indicators on daily, weekly, and monthly and apply problem solving for continuous improvement
· Foresee the risks in weekly/monthly execution and escalate to management & get Its resolve .
· Maintain & monitor WIP Aging with less than one week day .
· Planning for new program parts Sub assembly & assembly to meet LOB.
· Production ramp-up as per customer requirements.
· Help team to resolve technical issues with CFT co-ordination.
· Use and implementation of lean and digital tools to drive predictable outcomes with analytics.
· Use of six -sigma tools to drive solutions.
· Should be able to work in cross function team to meet business goals.
· Required documentation and maintaining it updated.
· 100% vouchering adherence.
· 100% load & drop adherence.
· This role requires to rotate in 3 shifts, also attend office 6 days a week.
Ideal Candidate:
Candidate with 2–3 years of hands-on production planning and shop-floor experience, strong knowledge of AS9100/S-1000, and a proven track record in safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
Required Qualifications :
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree from a reputed college /university
· Minimum of 2-3 years’ hands on experience in Handling operation in Aviation.
· Sound knowledge of Production Planning and control
Preferred Qualifications :
· Understanding of AS 9100 and S-1000 Quality Standard
· Experience in Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing and value stream mapping will be added advantage
