GE Aerospace is looking for a bachelor’s degree student to work with the Operations Team managing operational dashboards, planification and track of the GEIQ organization resources to fulfill business requirements.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Provide support to the Operations team metrics and reports.
·  Support in the development and implementation of tools leveraging lean principles to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
·  Support in the Visual Management tools to enforce Standard Work practices.
·  Feed the Operational dashboards with accurate and opportune information.
·  Generate and Analize operational data reports.
·  Support in the quarterly and yearly resources planification.
·  Weekly track on the resources forecast and actuals.
·  Collaborate with various stakeholders to manage operational metrics.
·  Generate meetings minutes.
·  Document processes and Standard Works.
·  Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements
·  Provide timely communication on significant issues to key stakeholders
·  Support the solution of problems of limited scope and complexity
·  Self-check of work

Qualification / Requirements

·  Currently enrolled in a bachelor´s degree with minimum 1 year before graduating.
·  Basic knowledge on Lean tools
·  Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
·  English skills: must be able to maintain a simple conversation in English
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  Manage multiple tasks with ability to prioritize activities and promptly raise blocking issues.
·  Advanced management on Office, Web Tools and Databases.
·  Presentation skills: ability to communicate with Senior Leadership.
·  Demonstrated ability in managing own projects
·  Effective problem identification and solution skills
·  Accountable and strong learning/continuous improvement mindset
·  Experience with visual management tools is a plus
·  Full-time job: 40hours per week
·  In-person work is required at GEIQ offices in Queretaro, Mex
