Job Description Summary

Perform a variety of tasks in the finishing process of the blade.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Grinding blade to work instruction specifications.
·  Grind between quality marks and apply gelcoat to designated locations.
·  Matting to give blades a clean finish.
·  Painting and Sanding
·  Apply tape to edge of blade to avoid overspray of gel coat.
·  Apply auto mask to the shell of the blade.
·  Apply filler/mud to the lead edge of the blade, then scrape of excess so all voids are filled.
·  Turn the blade utilizing machine.
·  Wear designated personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety guidelines.
·  Maintain 5s standards.

Required Qualifications

·  Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.  
·  Ability to push/pull heavy objects.  
·  Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.  
·  Ability to work with hands for an extended period.   
·  Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.  
·  Requires usage of respirator.  

Desired Characteristics

·  High School Diploma/GED or related experience.
·  Previous Manufacturing experience.

Schedule:

·  8 hour shift
·  Day shift

Mon - Fri: 6am - 2:30pm

Work Location: One location
