Job Description – Summary

HVDC Projects are large and complex projects with multiple sites across the world and international teams involved. The HVDC Tender Planner is part of the Project Controls team and his/her role is to develop and manage the tender schedule, aligning with all functions.

Responsibilities:

·  Key member of the tender team providing schedule status to the capture team leader and tender team
·  Develops and maintains the tender schedule by integrating inputs from all functions, units and third parties contributing to the project
·  Communicate about the schedule status to the tender manager, tender team and third parties.
·  Provides schedule analysis to determine tender schedule risks and opportunities then works with tender team members to drive risk mitigation strategies
·  Preparation of critical path analysis and work with multiple critical and near critical paths
·  Generates “what if” scenarios to optimize execution schedule and works with tender teams to evaluate feasibility
·  Aligns with commercial tendering team to ensure clear alignment between cost and schedule to ensure accurate project execution
·  Load and manage resources into the project schedule

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements

·  Graduate in Engineering or Economic studies.

Experience and Knowledge:

·  As part of a tender team, several years of experience in planning management
·  Application of planning control principles (WBS, critical path method, progress, resource loading)
·  Strong experience in Primavera P6

Behavioral skills / competencies:

·  Fluent in English is a must

As a Plus:

·  Carried out organizational and strategic planning process would be appreciated
·  Planning integration principles and methods
·  Contract management: made EOTs and supported negotiations
·  Risk management
·  Experience with CPA and EOT/delay analysis
·  Experience in electrical substations
