Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
· identification from the commencement of the Projects of all obligations and rights of customers, suppliers and GE and ensuring that project teams personnel are fully aware of the same through Contract Commercial Plan, Contract analysis, Contract Procedures, and Contract reading.
· Liaison with project planner and ensure that all main obligations/tasks to/from other parties have been included in the contract reference schedule.
· Ensuring that all notices or claims to customer, external partners and suppliers are made in accordance with the relevant contracts/subcontracts; and ensuring proper record (letters, minutes of meetings, faxes, e-mails) in respect thereof are identified, retained and filed;
· Ensure the maintenance of Event Register in the project capturing delays, key events, milestones, claims, change orders.
· Conduct project risk and opportunity identification and analysis.
· Preserve the Company’s rights and entitlements as provided in the Contract.
· Ensure proper notices are given in line with contract requirements.
· Refer to legal if litigation / dispute resolution is required.
· Notify, prepare and pursue all insurance claims (for all insurable events).Ensure that all notices or claims from GE to customer, external partners and suppliers are made in accordance with the relevant contracts / subcontracts. Ensure proper record (letters, minutes of meetings, faxes, e-mails) in respect thereof are identified, retained, and filed.
· Identify opportunities to expand the project in ways that bring value to our customer and satisfy GE profitability requirements. Negotiate change orders with the customers
· Ensure proper Lessons Learned exercises and be part of the continuous improvement initiative

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· University Degree in Engineering, Business Administration.
· Experience in Contract Management (2-5 years) with exposure to Site Construction issues.
· Understanding of Contract Law, Technical know-how.
· Experience of high-level negotiations
· Understanding of project risk management.
· Fluency in written and spoken English
