Role Summary/Purpose

We are looking for a Global Immigration Coordinator (m/f). Job #3190854

The Global Immigration Coordinator is responsible for defining and executing immigration policy and services globally for DP covering all short-term and long-term business assignments.
Essential Responsibilities

You will be responsible for building up, then coordinating the stand-alone immigration capabilities for DP world-wide, with the help of external vendors. You will set the strategy, design processes, supporting tools and be the coordination person between the HR managers and the external service providers.

In this role, you will:

·  Coordinate with external immigration, tax and relocation providers on visa applications (short and long term, business visa), work permits and relocation of employees globally

·  Manage external service provider relationships and contracts

·  Define and implement immigration and relocation strategies and policies

·  Ensure compliance of international and local immigration acts and other regulations and advice business stakeholders on compliant mobilization methods

·  Drive the wing to wing immigration process to ensure no delays in document procurement and application filing

·  Work closely with business contacts collecting necessary documentation for EU to EU mobility cases

·  Connect and coordinate practices and administrators across different business teams to drive standards and share best practices

·  Liaise with appropriate stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of short term business travel are addressed and all compliance regulations are established (immigration, tax, labor)

·  Monitor and drive key KPIs including customer satisfaction and process performance

·  Ensure business compliance when it comes to work authorization and visa processes

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s Degree

·  Experience with immigration topics (short term, long term, business visas)

·  Familiarity with GE’s immigration practices and the energy industry is a plus

·  Fluent in German and English

·  Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage stakeholders at all levels

·  Ability to work independently and recognize when to escalate issues

·  Highly organized – strong attention to detail

·  Able to work to tight timelines

·  Strong influencing and negotiation skills

·  Proven, strategic problem-solving skills

·  Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under time pressure

·  Work collaboratively with colleagues and across functions

·  Proven ability to analyze business challenges and provide immigration solutions

·  A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application). Legal work authorization to work is required. The business will not sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future for this role.
