The Future Programs Engine Architecture and Systems Integrator is an exciting opportunity to join the Preliminary Design team within the Advanced Systems Design & Technology section. The team deals with the definition of propulsion system architectures together with their integration in future aircraft for both commercial and military applications. The initial responsibilities of this role are in support to ongoing technology development programs the team is involved.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

· 
Lead the execution of trade studies of propulsion system architecture configurations including also aircraft installation feasibility studies

· 
Coordinate the activities of multidisciplinary project teams providing technical leadership, acting as integrator of different inputs from disciplines (mechanical, aerothermal, controls, …) within the company

· 
Supporting the program or system leads in the technical definition of the most adequate engine concept architectures while identifying risks and opportunities

· 
Interface with internal and external customers or partners to specify system requirements and flow down to the different teams

· 
Own the plan, execution and monitoring of technical work packages providing continued reporting to the leadership team and ensuring alignment with all the functions involved

· 
Contribute to the definition of technology maturation roadmaps for the successful introduction of novel concepts

· 
Lead or support technical and program reviews, present the results and findings to wide audiences from technical experts to executive leadership

· 
Ensure compliance with best practices and processes

· 
Ensure proper documentation of all work

Qualifications/Requirements

· 
Master’s degree in Aeronautics or Mechanical Engineering

· 
Demonstrated experience in aviation gas turbine engines development and their integration/installation on aircraft

· 
Experienced in whole engine architecture trades and their impact into final system performance and aircraft capabilities

· 
Experience on systems engineering and/or a variety of technical disciplines related to propulsion (e.g. mechanical design, engine performance)

· 
Experience with both fixed wing and rotorcraft applications and associated gas turbine engine types

· 
Propulsion system and aircraft requirements management experience

· 
Familiarity with Research and Technology development processes

· 
English and Italian fluent knowledge

· 
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
