Job Description Summary

Perform a variety of tasks in the finishing and assembly process of the blade. .

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities  

· 
Follow the work instructions

· 
Grinding blade to work instruction specifications. 

· 
Grind between quality marks and apply gelcoat to designated locations.  

· 
Matting to give blades a clean finish. 

· 
Painting and Sanding 

· 
Apply tape to edge of blade to avoid overspray of gel coat.  

· 
Apply auto mask to the shell of the blade.  

· 
Apply filler/mud to the lead edge of the blade, then scrape of excess so all voids are filled.  

· 
Turn the blade utilizing machine. 

· 
Wear designated personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety guidelines. 

· 
Maintain 5s standards.

· 
Remove access tape and material from lightening cable inside the blade.  

· 
Apply zip ties to lightening cable according to work instructions to attach it to the web.  

· 
Take out stay bolts from the ring on the root of the blade.  

· 
Insert plugs into bushings around the root to avoid dust in the bushing.  

· 
Two individuals place donut inside the blade utilizing sika.  

· 
Use of hand tools/scraper to even out sika that is applied to the edge of the donut.  

· 
Willingness to learn repair aspects of finishing and assembly areas

Required Qualifications  

· 
Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.   

· 
Ability to push/pull heavy objects.   

· 
Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.   

· 
Ability to work with hands for an extended period.    

· 
Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.   

· 
Requires usage of respirator.   

Desired Characteristics  

· 
High School Diploma/GED or related experience. 

· 
Previous Manufacturing experience.

Position Shift: 7am-3:30pm

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the base pay for this position is $22.32-$27.50.
