· 
To Comply with HMRC regulations when Exporting goods from the UK for the Dowty business.

· 
Prepare Customer Orders & Supplier Purchase Orders for International or UK shipment, from receipt of Product or Service into Despatch & any Export requirements such as Licences / EUU’s & re-export in the case of IPR entries to discharge of Customs liabilities.

· 
Outside Supplier Processing & Repair are also included as shipments as well as RTV (Return to Vendor).  

· 
Applies to the following in Preparation for Shipments & Documentation

· 
The above must be completed within a compliant environment and maintaining the integrity of the Business System, Complying with both Financial and Quality Audit regulations for the Dowty business. Maintaining the stock assets and ensuring a regular review of any delivery issues.

· 
Non-conforming stock will be actioned by Quality in accordance with Procedure.

Essential Responsibilities

· 
Preparing shipping paperwork.

· 
Raise and print Customs invoice.

· 
Create Shippers Letter of Instruction.

· 
Print Documents.

· 
Confirm Shipment.

· 
Record Freight Forwarder information.

· 
Update Export Log.

· 
Transact any Returns and Corrections.

· 
Preparing Collection.

· 
Coordinate paperwork as required to raise airway bills and request collection by agents/couriers as required based on current Incoterms.

· 
Provide Weights and Dimensions.

· 
Provide information to Customers / Freight Companies.

· 
Complete TMS (Exostar) process for Lockheed Martin shipments.

· 
Complete OMB process for Boeing shipments.

· 
Complete DHL Clear It process to gain C88 for road freight exports.

· 
Raise any concerns with documentation / items or packing.

· 
Export Regulation.

· 
Work compliantly with Export Regulation for Military Parts.

· 
Awareness / Training regarding Aviation Security Regulation.

· 
Understanding of CPC codes to be able to explain the relevant custom codes to export the goods.

· 
Filing of documents - delivery notes, invoice, airway bill, or additional paperwork that has been raised and release forms.  On site filing & Off-site locations such as Iron Mountain.

· 
Quality Release (Subject to Passing Qualification).

· 
The Quality Release Code and Source Inspection information is accessed from the Sales Orders screen’s Descriptive Flex Field (DFF).

· 
Select the Quality Release code and print the required Release document. 

· 
Your Electronic signature will print on the documentation as per your release approval - Passport: All parts and materials excluding LRUs.Training for signing of Form 1 or C of C subject to successful completion of training and meeting qualifications requirements: See QMP 32   

· 
AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Requirements.

· 
Out of Hours AOG rota (after qualifying period)

· 
Process / Respond to requests for AOG in a timely manner.

· 
Attend daily CCC/PCC as required to determine priorities.

· 
Provide cover for Despatch Packing / Stores and Goods-in as per business requirements.

· 
Demonstrating good practise in inventory control, maintain accuracy.

· 
Update data accurately into the Business System as required.

· 
Shipping Report. Outstanding Despatches Report. Export Log Detail Report.

Preferred Qualifications

· 
Previous warehouse packing experience (desired)

· 
Familiar with manufacturing environment - Aerospace preferred

· 
Proven knowledge of Shipping documentation / systems

· 
Competent in the use of computerised systems

· 
Current and valid Forklift licence (desired)

· 
Known Consignor Qualification (desired)

· 
Oracle R12 Experience
