Job Description Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Human Resources (HR) teams. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both EHS and HR functions, supporting our commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive workplace. The intern will assist with various projects and initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote employee well-being and organizational efficiency. All students are required to have completed the 5o. semester of university course. TBC.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

·  Support the EHS team in conducting safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
·  Assist in the development and review of EHS policies and training programs.
·  Participate in accident investigations and help prepare reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
·  Collaborate with the HR team on recruitment and onboarding processes
·  Site events management.
·  Aid in the preparation and updating of employee records and documentation.
·  Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
·  Support HR projects related to performance management, employee satisfaction surveys, and diversity initiatives.
·  Contribute to the maintenance of HR databases and help generate reports for management review.
·  Perform other duties as assigned to support the EHS and HR teams.

Desired Characteristics:

·  Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
·  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
·  A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
·  Familiarity with EHS and HR concepts and practices is a plus.
·  Demonstrated interest in promoting workplace safety and employee well-being.
