Overview
Job Summary
The FP&A Store Wages Analyst is a member of Foot Locker Europe’s finance team, working in partnership with the Customer Experience, Sales, Planning and Accounting teams to provide data insights to support strategic business decisions. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing labor cost through the analysis of store wages and primary KPIs, distilling this analysis on a weekly and monthly basis to provide recommendations for senior management.
In this position you will apply your skills and knowledge to manage process of Store Wages planning & analysis, identification and management of Risks & Opportunities. Key to success in this role is the ability to communicate and influence across teams, an interest in collaboration, a motivation to discover trends in complex data sets, and a drive to improve the collective status quo.

Responsibilities
Tasks & Responsibilities
· Analyse and identify opportunities in wage expenditures, perform variance (vs. Plan, FCST) & scenario analysis
· Responsible for wages forecasting and budgeting – linking the business reality to the financial results of the company
· Responsible for month-end cycles with actual reviews, accruals calculations in collaboration with payroll and accounting teams
· Identify wage/ cost opportunities and recommend/contribute/lead (process) change that leads to better business results
· Assistance to the Sr. Manager FPA Wages in consolidation & analysis of Store Wages financial information (Plan, FCST, scenarios, etc.)
· Preparation of Reporting packages
· Special projects as assigned
Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
· 3+ years of relevant work experience in financial or business control
· Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
· Advanced level Excel skills required; an Excel test is part of the recruitment process
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
· Able to quickly understand and improve complex data, reports, and processes
· Ability to recognize and address opportunities in the status quo
· Ability to plan and execute projects while meeting key milestones
· Experience in an international environment, complex cost structure and/or accounting are a plus
