Overview
As the Supervisor Control Tower, you are responsible for leading a team of two controllers and optimizing the daily logistics flow within our distribution center. You play a crucial role in managing workflow for the organization, aiming to achieve the most efficient output. In this role, you provide direction to the operational supervisors and create the right conditions for optimal performance of our Adapto and our general Operational flow.
Responsibilities
· Team Leadership: Lead and coach the team of controllers, ensuring effective collaboration and development of team members.
· Automation : Manage Adapto automation system KPI’s aimed at system availability, order processing time, order processing error rates and problem resolution time to ensure Service Level optimization.
· Stakeholder management: manage internal and external stakeholders to assure continuous flow of operational processes by ever increasing Adapto’s SLA.
· Workflow Management: Manage and optimize workflow processes to ensure the most efficient operations within the distribution center.
· Operational Coordination: Ensure a smooth daily logistics flow through effective collaboration with operational supervisors.
· Data Analysis: Analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements. Focus on conducting root cause analyses to effectively resolve issues.
· Communication: Maintain clear communication with various departments to optimize collaboration and information exchange.
· Process Improvement: Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
· Reporting: Prepare reports for management on operational performance and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
· Education: HBO/WO in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a logistics role, preferably in a control tower or similar position, with team management experience.
· Skills:
· Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis.
· Decision-making ability and resilience in a dynamic environment.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Experience with logistics software and systems is a plus.
