Overview

Are you ready to join our exceptional Transportation team? Foot Locker is currently seeking a Sr. Inbound Transportation Specialist to join our Supply Chain Transportation team. The Sr. Inbound Transportation Specialist is responsible for scheduling and routing the inbound flow of goods throughout our North America Distribution Centers and stores. This role will manage and maintain good working relationships with vendor partners, carriers, and internal Foot Locker stakeholders alike. The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of a team or individually and have the ability to analyze transportation issues that arise to find solutions.

 

This position requires problem solving, critical thinking, process improvement abilities as well as attention to detail and accuracy when entering large amounts of informations. Organizational abilities, attention to detail, and professional communications are a must. A comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to learn other supply chain and transportation management systems is required.

·  This position will be the primary role for inbound routing in North America.
·  Provide support and training as needed for the Foot Locker Vendor Routing Tool.
·  Deliver cost and service KPI’s that enable customer satisfaction and margin improvements.
·  Ability to work with all types of data, and create reports as needed.
·  This position must maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
·  Ability to handle competing priorities and maintain day to day needs of the teams this position supports.
·  Assist with projects and analyses to support new business initiatives as needed.
·  Take the initiative to fix or improve existing processes, systems, or reports.
·  Support / backup other transportation team members as needed.
·  All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

·  Associates degree or higher preferred; or equivalent years of work-related experience
·  Minimum of 1-year previous experience in a customer service/administrative role
·  Minimum of 6 months experience in a logistics role preferred
·  Comprehensive experience working with Microsoft Office including Excel

·  Required to sit (stationary position) at a computer workstation and/or desk for a full shift.
·  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
·  While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required communicate using various methods.
·  Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling, and moving weights of 5-50lbs occasionally.
·  Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18-22 / hr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
